A letter (see: OT122) accompanied the photograph, which was sent to Swansea RFC by D J Harries' grandson in 1996.

Trophy, 1908. Commemorating Wales winning five international matches in the season. silver, winged dragon handles either side. Details engraved on each side of bowl: "Matches won - Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, France" and: "Welsh Football Union Souvenir. Winning of 5 International Matches 1908-9". The black painted wooden base has two badges that represent the 'home' unions of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. the Australian emu/Wallaby badge has a banner at its base engraved: "France Australia". Presented by the family of Swansea and Wales forward George Hayward.
