This is the Swansea RFC club blazer of T Aubrey Hill. He played at wing and centre for the Swansea 1st Xv between 1927 and 1933. Hill was part of an 'All Whites' backline that featured Billy Trew Jnr., Idwal Rees, Claude Davey and Rowe Harding, the latter three all capped by Wales. Aubrey was known for his opportunistic try scoring. He toured with Swansea to France in 1928, playing against the Tarbes club. After his playing days were over Hill served many years on the committees of the SC&FC, being made a Life Vice-President in recognition of his services to the club. This is the oldest existing club blazer from the football section of SC&FC. Kindly gifted by Mrs L Hill.
