Scotland jersey worn by Scottish full-back Ian Thomason, presented to Swansea RFC by L G Blythe. This jersey is from the Wales v Scotland match at Cardiff Arms Park on 2nd February 1952 when Wales won by 11 points to nil (h/t: 8 - 0). It was Len Blythe's final of three Welsh caps (E 1951, SA 1951, S 1952). He played twice against South Africa in 1951 as he also captained Swansea against them at St Helens on 15th December 1951. In the 1950s players in Welsh, English and Scottish teams were numbered from the full-back to scrum-half (1 to 7) and loosehead prop to "number eight" (8 to 15).
